Get ready to learn about terminal secretions…

As a hospice worker & Death Doula, I gotta admit, this scene is realistic asf 💯 😂

My great Grandma insisted on making a German chocolate cake (with some help obviously) she died two days later. My mom makes that cake on her birthday every year. Dying is just a part of being alive.

They need to teach this. We get taught about birth and what not but never teaches us about death!!!

She is right about the dying process. “ When you breathe the last time , there’s no breathing in .” That’s Death. So sad.

The death rattle is forever etched in my mind. I can hear it as if it was still happening.

If I was in the state of ketosis, Please gibe me 3 tabs of LSD

The Rally part is so accurate! Unfortunately, in my experience as a Hospice volunteer, not everyone gets that. Thankfully, my husband was gifted with one and actually got released from hospice by the Doctors only to come home to die 3 days later. It was traumatic but so peaceful? I wish everyone the same beautiful passing to the other side! 🙏🏻

Actually, I’ve been a hospice RN for 25+ years and this is NOT realistic. Any nurse who presented teaching in this way would be thrown out of most homes.

I wish I had someone explain this to me, in this fashion when my parents were dying. I wasn’t told about “terminal secretions” I was told “death rattle”. Neither of my parents did that, at least not that I noticed. Everything else she said was pretty accurate. I liked how she made it sound so peaceful and a little enjoyable (euphoria). I hope both of my parents felt that way when they left. It’s way better than thinking they were afraid…

“Wait! I forgot to tell you about the rally!” Is hilarious. It’s just like when you are ready to write the person off. You find them in the kitchen eating a Twinkie and boiling water for some tea.

it's 6am thanks for reminding me to live my life to the fucking fullest

Gonna throw this in, to lighten the mood

She's on the money from days working in a nursing home about the only thing she didn't mention was the brain releases a big hit of DMT.

This is true I saw it🥲

My father passed away at the beginning of the year. This was strangely therapeutic. I almost skipped. I’m so glad I didn’t. It gave me an insight to what my dad might’ve experienced. Things I personally watched him experience and speak about. Never knew… I miss you dad

This is spot on! Brought me right back to when I lost my Mother. Wish there was more nurses like her that tells it as it is. Its the fear of the unknown is whats scary, but knowing whats to come helps. Wish I knew that then.

I watched both my parents go through all of this…I held their hands until the very end. I miss them every day 🙏

I'm witnessing this presently with a Loved one ✨💕🌿🪷

I watched both my parents die - how anyone can pretend this is anything but the most awful gutwrenching tragedy, as though it’s something to celebrate, is truly sick in the fucking head

@grok what movie is this?

Needed this. Been too stressed about living when we’re all going to die

I like this way of thinking. I've seen people die horrible deaths. So much pain and fear. I prefer what she said. But thats not me. Lol 😅

😭😭😭 I saw all of this with my mum. Her last breath out with me straddling her in my arms as I scratched her back and to me it was a sign of relief.

I appreciate ppl who can put some kind of joy in a serious situation

Very realistic process which is unforgettable for families

I f*kin luv yer vibe, yer nutz man 😆

My mother went through the asper stages when she was dying and her very last words when she passed, she reached out and said “mama, mama“

This makes me think of the hospice nurse I watch on here. She is also very comfortable and almost enthusiastic about the dying process. It makes it easier to hear about I think.

I just did this with my granny 😢

How exciting

Just like when my wife died 37 years ago.

What the fuck is this pro death bullshit? Let me guess the next scene was the dark haired one going into the MAID program right?

I f—ing love Amy’s vibe too!
