It's been so unique to work on Gemini Omni pre-training with the best team on earth. Omni has outstanding reference-based generation and novel multimodal capabilities. It feels to me like a new paradigm. Native video editing, visual and vocal personalization, high quality outputs, multimodal understanding. All in one. Approaching the important AGI milestone of an anything-in-anything-out model. Here is me doing my best impression of directing, and acting in, a Lovecraftian horror film mixed with a Magnolia-like narration. Notice the expressions, the facial detail - it looks like me and it feels like me. I made this in less than an hour.

“fluent” out now. we went through thick and thin to get this made so to have it out in the world feels as sweet as honey. the irony of it coming out amidst of what I’m going through is humorously divine! when my vocal chord injury and dislocated knee rendered me mute and unable to walk much antony & I found ourselves on our third concept for this video - an injured mime communicating through body language - perfect! inspired by my love of theatre and art films and charlie chaplin and cabaret. I rocked up to set on crutches and we did this! lots of ice on the knee that night. I hope you love it as much as we do!

A Nikke OST every day for a year, day 11. “Artificial Shangri-La” Oh, the classic outpost OST. What a memorable one you are. Besides being engraved in most of our heads, this song’s name, “Artificial Shangri-La,” has a very interesting amount of depth to it. “Shangri-La” is a fictional place that was first coined in James Hilton’s 1933 novel Lost Horizon. It’s often described as a mythical hidden utopian paradise. Now, when we stick the word “Artificial,” as in meaning “man-made” or “not occurring naturally,” we get “Artificial Paradise” or sanctuary, pretty fitting for what the outpost is, aye! A mostly man-made outpost on the surface that is able to act as a refuge for all types and different shapes of Nikkes, mostly due to the hard work of Counters and the Commander. This song was composed and made by Cosmograph. I assume there are no vocal credits to give here, as these sound like vocal chops. Feel free to let me know if the original exists anywhere. NieN worked on the remixed anniversary version of this song.

Two weeks ago, Braxton Keathley posted a video of him hitting 113 out of 115 three-pointers. Right away, I knew he was #OneOfUs — one of those relentless workers who lives in the gym working on their game. As someone who used to shoot 1,000 shots before school every morning, I was blown away by his work ethic and sent him a DM with some training advice. He told me he’d love to get a workout in one day and that he looked up to Tyrese Maxey’s game—so I invited him to LA to train with Tyrese the following week. Turns out, Braxton Keathley can hoop! He led the state of Kentucky in scoring as a sophomore, and with his work ethic, I have no doubt he’ll keep leveling up. This interaction with Braxton made me want to start rewarding more young players who attack the game the same way with opportunities and experiences like this.
