A Nikke OST every day for a year, day 11. “Artificial Shangri-La” Oh, the classic outpost OST. What a memorable one you are. Besides being engraved in most of our heads, this song’s name, “Artificial Shangri-La,” has a very interesting amount of depth to it. “Shangri-La” is a fictional place that was first coined in James Hilton’s 1933 novel Lost Horizon. It’s often described as a mythical hidden utopian paradise. Now, when we stick the word “Artificial,” as in meaning “man-made” or “not occurring naturally,” we get “Artificial Paradise” or sanctuary, pretty fitting for what the outpost is, aye! A mostly man-made outpost on the surface that is able to act as a refuge for all types and different shapes of Nikkes, mostly due to the hard work of Counters and the Commander. This song was composed and made by Cosmograph. I assume there are no vocal credits to give here, as these sound like vocal chops. Feel free to let me know if the original exists anywhere. NieN worked on the remixed anniversary version of this song.

Two weeks ago, Braxton Keathley posted a video of him hitting 113 out of 115 three-pointers. Right away, I knew he was #OneOfUs — one of those relentless workers who lives in the gym working on their game. As someone who used to shoot 1,000 shots before school every morning, I was blown away by his work ethic and sent him a DM with some training advice. He told me he’d love to get a workout in one day and that he looked up to Tyrese Maxey’s game—so I invited him to LA to train with Tyrese the following week. Turns out, Braxton Keathley can hoop! He led the state of Kentucky in scoring as a sophomore, and with his work ethic, I have no doubt he’ll keep leveling up. This interaction with Braxton made me want to start rewarding more young players who attack the game the same way with opportunities and experiences like this. soobin’s monthly evaluation story 🐿️🐱💬 hyung, what was the got7 song that you sang? 🐿️🐱💬 i liked that 🐰 you remember that? 😭 there was a song by got7 sunbaenim that i sang during the monthly singing evaluation and you guys know that my vocal pitch is really low even for men and even now, i’ve raised my vocal range a lot and it’s here now but it was quite bad when i was a trainee, there were no songs that i could sing 🐰 my vocal pitch was extremely low so no songs that i could comfortably sing existed and they made me sing ‘a’ by got7…this song is rather high 🐰 when i was singing this song…the intro starts with “aaa~~~” and right from the beginning, my voice cracked and i went “AaAaA~~~” 🐰 and this “aaa~~” repeats quite a few times, if it was just once, i could get embarrassed about my voice cracking once and move past it but it repeats about 4 times 🐰 i was doing my monthly evaluation and my voice consecutively cracked 4 times. 🐰 i kept going “AaAa~ aAaA~” 😭 🐰 at first, the hyungs and noonas from rookie development team gave me a serious look…when my voice cracked the first time, they were looking at me like “you punk…we’ll see you after this is over, you’re finished” but after my voice cracked 3 times in a row 😭😭😭 they couldn’t hold back their laughter 🐰 our monthly evaluations were a really suffocating environment like the kind where you’d get cursed at even if you did well and in that environment everyone was laughing together 🐰 they didn’t even curse at me, i guess it was funny…but they scored me quite harshly, i think i was in last place

This was just the same way I was called up and introduced on stage at ULI concert by BAD MAN KCEE ❤️🕊️ in 2019 now look at me now.We are brothers and we win together. Bringing him @oguguaezeyork on this stage with me was one of the biggest memory of Kolaboy KFE concert for me and I pray that he will go ahead to rule his world.KFE was well served and thanks to all our fans we love you always❤️.
