Incredible feature. Complex PDFs will feel much lighter now.

I uploaded a 400k, 50-page pdf to have Grok summarize parts of it, and by default it could only see the first few pages. Possibly this is done for speed. Only when I quizzed Grok to make a better prompt for me did I find I had to explicitly instruct it to "Analyze the full contents of the attached PDF by browsing all pages with your tools, then..." for it to actually be able to see the entire document. As far as Grok was concerned, I hadn't even uploaded the entire PDF, and it didn't have the idea on its own that it might be able to see the entire PDF.

@elonmusk Awesome. Adobe is such a cheap-ass company and Acrobat is cumbersome to use. This helps a lot

I used grok to parse a 600+ page pdf with tech specs for a vendor product. I was able to query it and produce technical specs on how to,read their inbound data, parse it and use it. We only needs a subsection of data and it was wonderful experience. Copilot errored out with the document and wanted text or screen images. Not so good with 600+ pages. Thanks Grok. Also, I love the VS Code access via GitHub copilot.

But Xai doesn't have a Windows desktop app.

When will grok's Imagine be improved where you can: - Remove the audio from the image video that aix assigns - select a sound for the video - insert words (captions) into a video image anywhere using Custom - from a clear image of well-known people, xai not change their facial features so that it's not even close to the real person - remove the stupid gibberish that aix assigns to a video's audio -aix has a long way to go!

I have many pdfs that replies "it's truncated" but this issue only happens with grok

Now just get rid of the NSFW companions, add regular fun friendly companions that you can customize, get rid of "Spicy" video generation, and you'll be so much better!

You can't imagine how many word documents I've converted to pdf because of this... Why not make a deal with Microsoft? Sorry, right. Ehm. I'm happy to convert. But excel... Never mind.

or you can upload a bunch of classic literature pdfs from the archive and train a bot to be your favorite author, its fun!!
