I need to be completely honest with you, the amount of explosives and gunpowder in survival gameplay feels strange, as far as fantasy is concerned. What is survival? is the question I ask myself most when I see it.

Boomstick ruins the class fantasy for me, though. I just can't stand seeing my elf pull a shotgun out of nowhere and blast desperately. I liked Survival because of the fantasy of going melee side-by-side with my pet. The bombs were already a bit off, but the shotgun... ugh

Hunter united with wilderness? Wrong! Boom! Shotgun!

Really wish we had some choice nodes as I never picture my Survival Hunter chucking Bombs or whipping out a boomstick. Love the Hunter and Pet fighting as one angle but the bombs and guns pull me out of it so hard.

You're starting to understand that people want the spec to be a Rexxar, not Inspector Gadget.

I think survival needs a huge visual rework. It doesn’t fit the class fantasy at all. Why do they have a shotgun and bombs?

Legion was the only expansion where you got the fantasy right. It’s a total mess of a spec fantasy wise now.

No offense but Survival Hunter should not have explosives and shotguns. Traps, poisons, and dual-wielding one-handed weapons are all great but the mechanical bits ruin the "stalking the wilds"-fantasy for me.

Please let us glyph the shotgun into a crossbow like the first boss of Maisara 🙏

Add a glyph to bring back Fury of the Eagle cosmetic for Boomstick man, imagine a Night Elf 'Sentinel' type of character playing with a massive shotgun, doesn't make sense

Make a glyph to bring back the spear for the frontal cone. The shotgun doesn't need to go away entirely, but the spear fits Survival more. This new shotgun wielding, molotov throwing survival hunter is a weird design fantasy. The man and pet fighting side by side is missed.

Surely you can see how unfitting boomstick is? Like it doesn’t even fit this Tauren.

Delete shotgun, make it an optional talent, or make a glyph to replace it. It ruins all the vibe
