Getting a grid connection for $BTC mining got hard. Two or three years ago it wasn't. Filmed at a GoMining site in West Texas, Jared (CEO of GoMining North America Division) makes the point: the competition now is hyperscalers. They want the same large sites, they have deeper pockets,... show more

Mine $BTC without fighting for a grid connection 👇

Well said Jared.

when ai compute pays ten times more per megawatt miners are just always going to get pushed into the weird leftover pockets

Hardware depreciates predictably, so it never creates a durable moat. The real bottleneck is structuring flexible off-take agreements on substations before industrial buyers lock down the capacity.

competition from hyperscalers makes site access even tougher now

Where next then?

Hello you took money from me 3 months ago and support is not answering. They told me 5 times “they pass information to our specialist” and i dont get any answer. If you dont pay me back i will sue you and keep posting this message.

Facts

home setups never stood a chance

Miners thrive on stranded gas in nowhere. Data centers need civilization.

I love these kindsa videos showing me where my money is working 🤝

utilities just want investment grade credit

Spot on right here

He knows his stuff.

맞는 말

太真实了

Electricity. Hyperscalers outbid miners on power every time. Just scraps left.

Based take

Bidding against infinite money cloud monopolies for local substation voltage is basically over before it even starts bro

Accurate read on this

Agreed

Both. @Grok, do you think AI competition also affects bitcoin:native mining growth?

Definitely power Competing with AI data centers for energy changed the entire game

Electric bills under Biden broke us?

I think energy is the big hurdle at the moment. Bitcoin mining and node hosting has the ability to leverage remote energy because it doesn't require the same latency. Geothermal energy in colder regions seems like a wise path to me.

Hard to argue that.

I love when you talk logic

Pure alpha as always
