After a lot of research, I managed to create a tool for Godot that makes it possible to animate Gaussian Splatting with bones, especially for human bodies using Godot’s Skeleton3D. There are still a few small bugs when importing animations, but I’m definitely on the right track.

A really cool feature of the View Transitions API (available now in stable Chrome!) is that videos and animations on the new view continue to play smoothly while transitioning. With a bit of extra JavaScript, you can even do this with elements shared across different routes ✨

$this is now a much more accurate representation of the space and it still holds that GPT-5.4 is a bit more explorative it's now based on kamada–kawai layout instead of the default spring layout, and there are much more nodes and edges than before (still need to optimize it tho) but it's not close to all nodes or edges in the neighborhood, still only a tiny fraction the fuzzball is very dense$

Thought Kirby would be a great replacement for Yoshi in #SuperMarioBrosWonder due to the ability to inhale enemies and that he can sort of "float" around. Some animations still need to be fixed but otherwise it works pretty well!

I really hope Squash Matches return in WWE 2K27 🔥 I loved the unique animations, and they added so much realism to the game. Not every Superstar should be able to go toe-to-toe with the Beasts and giants of WWE and have a competitive match. Split layout framework update. Since the last video: focus views animate, corner drags can move both axes, cross-window drag and drop with animation, all animations backed by CoreAnimation, and full accessibility framework integration (e.g. compat with VoiceOver). The focus view work was the hardest and most complicated. We allow caller-provided SwiftUI views for the focus style, but have to drop that back to a native AppKit/UIKit hosted view for smooth CoreAnimation integration with our other animations so they move in lock-step with our other stuff. Lot of work to get that to work, but I think it turned out great. The caller lives in easy SwiftUI land we handle that complexity. The animation timings and curves need to be tweaked. I think some animations are too long or don't feel right. But thats just parameterization at this point...

On our episode, we mentioned that there's some footage floating around of Toy Story scenes that have gone through the layout phase, but not full animation. Here's one. The characters are lifeless and just getting dragged around the screen. But even in low-fidelity, the team can still use it to get a sense of if the story's working enough to proceed through the rest of the pipeline.
