Getting into combat on Rebirth and having this blasted in your ear generally made me tear up bro. Uematsu's melody in RPGs were one of a kind.

yea this rendition of the main theme was so goated. idk what they were cooking to make this be timed to whatever part ur at on the overworld theme but it was so cool hearing it in game for the first time

This game's music is the greatest thing I've ever heard in any video game ever. Uematsu went absolutely ballistic. Just listen to that score... my God! And they're all like that, including variations. I'm amazed at every listen. The nostalgia, too. Incredible soundtrack and game.
