Getting paid in USD as a creator shouldn’t be stressful. With Cleva (YC W24), you can receive USD via ACH from international clients, platforms, and employers then manage your dollars from one place. If you earn globally, this is worth checking out. 🌍💵 Use my code MARV7132 when signing up.

ELON: IF SOMETHING’S IMPORTANT, DO IT IN SPITE OF FEAR “I feel fear quite strongly. It's not as though I just have the absence of fear. But there are just times when something is important enough, you believe in it enough, that you do it in spite of fear. People shouldn't think, I feel fear about this, and therefore I shouldn't do it. It's normal to feel fear. You'd have to definitely have something mentally wrong if you didn't feel fear.” Source: Y Combinator, September 2016

Ethan Evans (ex-Amazon VP) on his Director promo: "So I said, my career is very important to me. I need to understand how important it is to Amazon because if it's not as important to Amazon as it is to me, I need to think about that. And you know, I need to think about that isn't a direct threat. But you laughed. Everyone understands. But I'm not doing it in a way that is easily easy for him to push back on. See, if I say, well, if it's not as important to you, making it personal with him, if it's not important to you as it is to me, then I might quit. That's a threat. And all managers are going to be like, hey, you can't extort me, right? That isn't how it works right? He pushed the promotion through." Ethan Evans Ryan: "When you say that wording, I feel the effects of extortion a bit, right? But I couldn't, I could not label it extortion."

🧪People often ask me if a high layup is "worth it" - and what I think is that, people are making the game WAY too technical. It's Basketball man. If you like layups and you want to do layups, you're going to have more fun with a high driving layup rating lol. It's really that simple. It's worth it for ME. It's all about how you want to play the game. Whether you find success with it or not all depends on your shot selection and your timing. #NBA2K25

Lagos is killing the game, and our transportation system is fire! I rode public transport with the locals to see what it's like for young people getting around. I went from Lagos Island to Lagos State University (LASU) in Iyana-Iba, Ojo, and it was a real adventure! I'm hyped we're making transport easier for our youth, who are all about that grind! We're all about supporting you and making it easier for you to chase your dreams. #RisingStar✨

Did you know? As more Africans earn from international clients, receive stablecoins, build global businesses, and participate in the digital economy, many still rely on multiple apps just to manage their money. One app to receive payments. Another to manage crypto. Another to swap assets. Another to withdraw into a local bank account. But what if one app could bring it all together? Over the past few months, the team at EdenFi 🟠 has been working relentlessly—listening to users, refining the product, and rethinking how people should experience money in a more connected world. The result is a simpler way to: • Receive global payments with USD, EUR & GBP accounts • Send and receive crypto • Swap assets across multiple blockchains • Cash out directly into your local bank account If you’ve been looking for a better way to manage your money globally, now’s a great time to see what EdenFi is building. 📲 Download EdenFi: App Store: Google Play:

365 DAYS AGO TODAY, ...the Cleva dream started with a single tweet. Driven by our passions and desires, we built a product that solved a pertinent problem; 'getting paid in USD as a Nigerian'. Over 365 days after, we have had highs and lows, recorded wins and losses; however, our greatest achievement lies in every USD transaction we have processed for every hardworking freelancer and remote worker. For the next 365 days, we might not have all the answers for what the future will be like, but we are sure we will definitely never stop building for you, our dear customers; this is all the clue we need. ❤️ Happy One Year Anniversary, Cleva Fam! 🎉 #ClevaisOne #ClevaAnniversary

GotSOL: When Getting Paid Finally Feels Simple For many online freelancers, the work is never the problem. The real struggle begins after the job is done. Delayed payments, confusing payment links, high fees, and platforms that hold your money hostage for days. You deliver great work, your client is happy, but getting paid still feels harder than the work itself. This is the gap GotSOL is quietly fixing. GotSOL is a non-custodial Point of Sale and payment tool built on Solana that lets creators, freelancers, and merchants accept stablecoin payments instantly. No middlemen, no waiting period, no approval delays. When a client pays, the money goes straight to your wallet. It’s that simple. For freelancers, GotSOL feels less like a crypto product and more like a practical business tool. You can generate clean payment links for your services, bookmark your most-used offers, track payments automatically, and even organize services using inventory. Instead of rebuilding invoices every time, you reuse what already works. Payments become faster, repeat clients check out easily, and mistakes disappear. What makes GotSOL different is control. You’re not asking permission to access your money. You don’t need a bank account to operate globally. You don’t worry about chargebacks or frozen funds. You work, you share a link, you get paid. In a world where creators are global but payments are still broken, GotSOL turns stablecoins into something practical. Not hype, not theory, just a smoother way to run your business and focus on what actually matters, doing great work. Get paid Instantly on your terms that's the GotSOL way. Superteam Nigeria

One thing I really appreciate about old JRPGs is how they'd compose music for areas that'd only be heard once. It helped punctuate those moments, & made them really stand out in your mind. Finding a secret area was often just as important as the music that accompanied it.

.Elon Musk: Generally, you want education to be as close to a video game as possible, like a good video game. You do not need to tell your kid to play video games. They will play video games on autopilot all day. So if you can make it interactive and engaging, then you can make education far more compelling and far easier to do. You really want to disconnect the whole grade level thing from the subjects and allow people to progress at the fastest pace that they can or are interested in, in each subject. It seems like a really obvious thing. Most teaching today is a lot like vaudeville, and as a result, it's just not that compelling. It's like somebody standing up there and lecturing to you, and they've done the same lecture several years in a row. They're not necessarily all that engaged in doing it. A university education is often unnecessary. That's not to say it's unnecessary for all people, but I think you probably learn about as much in the first two years. Most of it is from your classmates. For a lot of companies, they do want to see the completion of the degree because they're looking for someone who's going to persevere and see it through to the end. And that's actually what's important to them. So it really depends on what somebody's goal is. If the goal is to start a company, I would say there's no point in finishing college.

I’ve been exploring MEXC Earn Plus recently, and honestly, it’s an interesting option if you have stablecoins like USDT sitting idle. 👀 Instead of just leaving your USDT unused, Earn Plus lets you put it to work and earn interest while keeping things flexible. One thing I like is that the flexible product has no lock-up period, and interest is calculated hourly and distributed daily. The APR is variable, so it can change over time, which means checking the latest rate on MEXC is important. MEXC also runs limited-time promotions and APR Booster offers for eligible users, which can make Earn Plus even more interesting during promotional periods. 🔥 For me, the combination of flexibility + daily interest + stablecoin earning is what makes Earn Plus worth checking out. If you’re holding USDT, would you consider putting some of it into Earn Plus instead of leaving it idle? 👀 MEXC #MEXC #MEXCEarnPlus

Matt Damon said some canceled people would have preferred an 18-month prison sentence because it has a clear end date. Joe Rogan: What we're talking about earlier about people that have been canceled, you know? That, that, this idea that one thing you said or one thing you did, and now we're going to exaggerate that to the fullest extent and cast you out of civilization. Matt Damon: In perpetuity, yeah. Joe Rogan: It's fucking crazy and it's... Matt Damon: Yeah, I would say because, because I bet some of those people would have preferred to go to jail for 18 months or whatever to, and, and then come out and say, "No, but I, that, that we can't... I, I paid my debt, like we're done." Yeah, like can we be done? Like, the, the thing about, about that, you know, getting kind of excoriated publicly like that, it's, it just never ends. And it's, and it's the first thing that, you know, it's just, it just will follow you to the grave, I think.

Anya Taylor-Joy about people fancasting her for roles: "What's crazy about them is that they're often correct and they're often a way that you find out about something. So, I will send to my agent, "have you heard about this?" And she's like, "yeah, we were just about to call you." I'm like, that's... I don't, how? what do you mean? Like, that's crazy. Sometimes it's completely off. But it's flattering and it's fun. You kind of get to go on a little mind adventure where you're like, what would that be like if I did that? And then sometimes it happens." 📹: Hits Radio UK
