It's wrong for parents to send their kids off to daycare just so they can "live their life" or work and not see them for the whole day. Children need at least one parent looking after them. Working is necessary, so one thing I would propose is for employers to offer in-office daycare services that will allow parents to attend to their children several times a day, and for work to mandate an hour-long break, only for parents and separate from their lunchbreak, so they can be with their kids. If more workplaces offered this, people would be more inclined to have children because the current system makes it very difficult for parents to be attentive and raise their kids and hold a good job at the same time.

Today a Kentucky lawmaker came out and essentially admitted to a public school agenda to shame white children for the color of their skin, and when you look at how history is taught in schools it’s clear that this agenda has been playing out for a long time. Children should be taught to be proud of their ancestors and to be proud of who they are.

This mother received a text from her son that their was an active shooter at his school. She called her husband who had their young daughter with him and had just left and he came back home. He went inside and grabbed his weapon and headed to the school. Dad was on his way to save everyone's babies not just his own. This is why my kids will always have their phones in school. They need to be able report an emergency and be able to get a hold of mom and dad at a moment's notice. Can't imagine getting that text from one of my kids. Sad that families have to deal with this madness. We know cell phones can be a distraction and be bad but do you think kids should be allowed to have their cell phones at all times, if not for this very reason right here?

I never knew this was a thing, I always thought most of the time the parents took kids to get ice cream after a game, and the parents all paid for their own kids. I can imagine having a child with food allergies is hard enough when it comes to snack time and the other parents aren’t taking in consideration what your own child’s food limitations are. In order to avoid any mishaps or leaving kids out of this, why doesn’t every parent bring their own snack for their own child, it would make it easier on all and would be more cost effective for the parents that could be struggling to pay for all of this. That’s just my opinion, what are your thoughts on bringing snacks for after sporting events for the kids?

It is also not appropriate for schools to allow men in lady face portraying highly sexualised caricatures of women to perform for children. Recently I spoke to a group of concerned parents who had a drag queen come into the local school to perform for their kids without their consent and without their knowledge. Protecting children from adult concepts like drag should not be controversial.

At no other time in history were kids raised to be so incompetent I'm noticing a growing divide in the peers of my kids (ages 11 & 9) Most of the kids who get very little screen time play music, are into baking, arts & crafts, hunting etc.. They are creative, have a healthy amount of self-esteem & are capable of basic life skills While most kids with phones who get plenty of screen time seem to mostly enjoy spending time on a screen They are consumers, not creators. They are into the latest tik tok craze & use language that 11 year old probably shouldn't use And many of their parents will talk about the child's anxiety or their behaviour medications like its normal A main goal of parenting is to prepare kids for the challenges of life To raise them with a variety of skills so they are capable of success Sadly this isn't happening for the majority of kids. I’ve been talking to heaps of parents about the U16 Social Media Ban that’s due to commence in about 5 weeks. It seems most parents haven’t told their kids yet about the upcoming ban and a couple of parents weren’t even aware it was happening. As of Dec 10th anyone under the age of 16 is going to lose access to their Facebook, Insta, YouTube and Snapchat accounts. YouTube seems to be the one that is used the most and many parents are simply planning to log their children into their own accounts so that their kids can continue using the platform. The user habits of both parents and kids on the same account is no doubt going to confuse the age assurance predictions that most of these tech companies have implemented for the u16 ban. This will result in parents having to provide identification to prove their age and continued use of their accounts. The government wanting to play parent to both adults and children in Australia means that kids are going to potentially be exposed to more harmful content online and it will also create privacy issues as a result of adults having to supply their ID and other personal information to these data harvesting social platforms. The ban is also going to be rolled out just as most kids are starting the long Summer break which means many children will loose contact and online social interactions with many of their friends and family over the Christmas period. The only positive thing that will results from this is that there will be approx 2.5 million kids who grow up hating the government and its control overreach.

Not only are we getting an economic BOOM, but we will also get an educational renaissance due to parents taking back their kids' education from Uncle Sam. We teach our students entrepreneurship from a young age. This is an annual flea market where students bring their used toys, books and anything they don’t want to school to sell to their fellow schoolmates and even teachers. Before the market starts, we teach them how to advertise, price, negotiate and give change. This way, they can learn the art of buying and selling, get rid of things they don’t want and have fun. These are practical skills and knowledge that we should also give our children in Nigeria. Not all of them, but some of them will find their calling in business and can start at a young age. Our teachers have an instrumental role to play in teaching them, encouraging them and gaining other skills other than just teaching students what is in text books. The online world now is providing more opportunities to do business, and kids should be in this action. It will sow seeds for our future business ecosystem and add more value to our economy.

Glenn Youngkin is encouraging people to get out and vote right now. “Get out and vote,” said Youngkin. “Here's your chance to right a wrong. The bottom line is that biological boys and biological men should not be in locker rooms with biological girls. Today, I taught my primary 2 kids the principle of the telescope using Galilean optics focused on how light waves gets into the aperture, meet at a focal point and produce a magnified image visible to the eye. At the end of the class, they had the chance to assemble binoculars and test them. This will inspire my 8 year old kids to be curious, to wonder about what is in space, what they might discover if they look far and wide, and also the hidden world of microorganism. In addition, this lesson can simply raise their interest about starting factories and companies that will build binoculars and telescopes to sell to Nigerian companies, labs and schools. In summary, they are currently getting appropriately ready for the growth of their country, economy and personal selves while our children in Nigeria are busy learning a colonial national anthem while memorizing the multiplication table. It’s not late. Here is how we can do this in Nigeria: 1. All children of government and elected officials must attend public schools. It should be an impeachable offense for their children to study overseas, and all public schools must be treated equal according to the law. 2. Ban all private schools for 15 years. 3. All teachers must have at least a masters degree, and be paid not less than 500K naira a month. 4. Scholarship for rural teachers education in university, free housing, free food for 10 years. Rural education should be focused on agricultural technology and healthcare. 5. President, governors and lawmakers should be paid minimum wage. 6. Public hanging of all convicted public officials and judicial workers for corruption (20k naira and above) while the colonial national anthem plays on a Jumbotron right next to the gallows.
