Getting through a combat situation in Psycho Patrol R feels even better than in Cruelty Squad because, at least early on, you are so weak you can get one tapped by literally anything, so it feels even better to get through unscathed. Also popping heads just feels real good.

You use money to upgrade either player skills or buy new equipment and upgrades from the garage for yourself or your mech. You can also find parts and weapons out in the world so you don't have to buy all of them.
