Getting to the range to gather data. A couple other things: For initial drop data use an app like Gravity Ballistics or use the box info for velocity (if no chronograph) and an included bullet profile from a ballistic app. Also, don't chase your misses, adjust for the average.

This is an older post I made using a Kestrel and tuning it to match my range data. Using the phone apps is similar to this with the exception of having a bullet profile library that will allow you to choose your specific bullet from a list.

Man, can I just say that you look like you know exactly what to look for in a horse and what kind of lever action I'd want for killing Indians?

Good info. Nice work spotting your impacts and making solid corrections.

Thanks. Finally getting better at that. Working with spotters so much in the beginning made for false confidence.

In your opinion is it worth the money to purchase an m24 with deployment case? Or is there better option in a SA with a non skeletonized platform?
