I have lost the words to say how utterly sad I feel that the Trump administration has failed to step in. America claims we are the largest “Christian “nation. If that were so we would have stepped in to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Yet decade after decade America sits back and watches as Christians are massacred around the world. We never act on their behalf to stand in solidarity as said in our scriptures that we should. My heart goes out to all those being affected by this horrible regime that is now ruling over the Syrian people if America does not know your faces and your names today and those who have been marked for the faith, they will know them on the day of judgment when they meet the Lord, for the martyrs of the faith will be there sitting at the right hand of Jesus

"The governor of Suwayda, appointed by Mohammed al-Jolani, removes a red ribbon from the shoulder of an elderly Sunni man, while someone in the background jokes, “This old man is an inghimasi, sir.” "Before launching the assault on Suwayda, Jolani’s forces had instructed Sunni families to wear a red ribbon so they wouldn’t be targeted — a way to distinguish Druze from Sunni Muslims, allowing his forces to kill the Druze with fewer mistakes. "This is the same method of identification used in the coastal massacres in western Syria against Alawites and Christians. We established a clear policy: the demilitarization of the area south of Damascus—from the Golan to the Druze Mountain region. That’s the first line. The second line—protecting the brothers of our brothers, the Druze in Jabal al-Druze. Both of these red lines were violated by the regime in Damascus. They sent troops south of Damascus, into the area that was supposed to remain demilitarized, and began massacring Druze. This was something we could not accept under any circumstances. The Druze are peaceful, never fight unless defending their towns and villages. Islamists were on a tribal raid, not law enforcement. They raided the Alawite coast 4 months ago. Many of the nearby Druze villages faced massacres just a few months ago. The Druze are our neighbors, our brothers and sisters, and we are committed to their safety, security and welfare. We will not allow armed militias or hostile armies to threaten our borders or our allies.
