I have lost the words to say how utterly sad I feel that the Trump administration has failed to step in. America claims we are the largest “Christian “nation. If that were so we would have stepped in to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. Yet decade after decade America sits back and watches as Christians are massacred around the world. We never act on their behalf to stand in solidarity as said in our scriptures that we should. My heart goes out to all those being affected by this horrible regime that is now ruling over the Syrian people if America does not know your faces and your names today and those who have been marked for the faith, they will know them on the day of judgment when they meet the Lord, for the martyrs of the faith will be there sitting at the right hand of Jesus

The Druze are peaceful, never fight unless defending their towns and villages. Islamists were on a tribal raid, not law enforcement. They raided the Alawite coast 4 months ago. Sharaa promised to hold perpetrators of massacres accountable. Nothing happened. Syrians lost trust in him. If he wants to govern Syria and build a stable and prosperous state, he needs to share power, win trust of Druze, Kurds, Alawites, or else, he’ll keep trying to subdue them and they’ll keep trying to repulse him and the shooting will never stop. Ceasefire failed on the first round because it didn’t instruct Islamists to withdraw from Druze territory, but with Israel tipping the scales in favor of the Druze, they decided to push Islamists out. Islamists then understood that they had no other option but to cease fire and pull out. That was a long day, now a lid. Good night. #SaveTheDruze

Today, I joined Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו, Defense Minister ישראל כ”ץ Israel Katz, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar | גדעון סער and IDF Chief of Staff Zamir, on a visit to IDF outposts in southwest Syria, close to where over 500,000 Druze civilians live. Many of the nearby Druze villages faced massacres just a few months ago. The Druze are our neighbors, our brothers and sisters, and we are committed to their safety, security and welfare. We will not allow armed militias or hostile armies to threaten our borders or our allies.
