We couldn’t print our own currency. We couldn’t even produce our own voiceover to explain how our currency is printed. At this point, what exactly can we do? Bank of Ghana, please do better. This is embarrassing.

📌STOP using Cotton Paper and let us start using a Synthetic Polymer (plastic) material like Canada began in 2011/2013. The material has been proven to last longer saving us some money to reprint, it resists water, and are much harder to counterfeit than cotton paper.

Pls can you redesign the cedis and get rid of the so called big six. It’s not part of our history and no country has many heads on its currency notes. The old cedis had beautiful and meaningful designs

Please change the pictures on the currency. History tells us that there is nothing like the Big Six. This name was created by the newspapers in Ghana. If it was created for the UGCC why is the picture of Paa Grant not included? The pictures on the currency must be changed.

How can I work there

We are almost 70 years old and someone somewhere prints our money for us. Why wouldn't our economy tumble? This is bad!

Why do we still have those 5 who didn’t nothing to help Ghana gain independence on the note? Apart from Dr. Nkrumah, we know those other 5 were against the independence of Ghana, so why have them on the note for that long? We need the Philip Gbeho, Tetteh Quashie, Ephraim Amoo, Naa Akushika, etc.; the national heroes not the tribal or ethnic heroes.
