Ghana must receive its fair share from the extractive sector. That is why we introduced the sliding-scale system.

We did not make many friends when we screamed at the top of our voices for a sliding-scale minerals (extractive industry) royalty regime (see our position on the Lithium deal). But all is well that ends well.

Good job, no more neocolonia agreements with our mineral resources.

This is good one however Ghana should be far past receiving a fair share to owning our extraction sector. The moment SSNIT etc.. holds a signant share in these areas, that’s Ghanaians benefiting enormously from this sector.
