Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan: I want to make it very clear that Israel’s actions in Syria should not first be presented or identified within the perspective of Turkish security concerns. It is violating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of a nation-state called Syria, and it is occupying it. It is a major national security threat for Syria, just as it is a national security threat for Lebanon, the West Bank, and Gaza. Therefore, I think all the Arab countries, the Muslim countries, the regional countries, the Europeans, and everybody else should come together and confront this policy.

Yet when I raise concerns about it, I am labelled Islamophobic. My concern is not about Islam or Muslims. It is about national security, accountability and the safety of Ghana. My friend sent me this video. I know for some people it may be nothing, but this is what it looks like when you import people from third-world countries. These are the steps of the largest public library in Yonkers, the third-largest city in New York State. The guy ate food from a food truck and then just tossed all the remaining food and the container right onto the sidewalk. These people will never share the values and culture of Western countries. They fled their shithole countries just to turn America into the same. I know someone will say, “But Americans do the same.” Yeah, they do. So if we already have a lot of filthy people here, why the hell should we import more?

So let’s support him in whatever way we can. Our country is at a crossroad now and so I don’t care if you’re NDC or you’re NPP. What we must focus on now as citizens of this country is the development of the country. If you’re indeed a Ghanaian who wishes well for Ghana, this is the time. This is the time to fold your sleeves and get your hands dirty. We’ve got a country to build. We’ve got a nation to set on the path of success not just for our generation but for those to come. I’m hopeful for a better Ghana and so must you be. For some of us, we have continued to support this country and the efforts of the governments that come and go. People are questioning why people from the Love Island universe will go and ‘act different’ on other shows… the reasoning for this is simple in the UK and I can only talk from our perspective the audience are very sensitive and they like to ‘humble’ people. In the USA this is the norm for them the unfiltered, raw reality tv and that’s why maybe for someone from the UK will think they are being a whole different person but that’s not the case at all. The UK doesn’t give the same grace the US audience does, that’s why I say certain people from the UK will thrive more over in the US when it comes to reality tv because they simply have the personality for it.
