This is Britain You go to jail for a "coconut" sign But no one prosecuted for an entire financial system breakdown Or hundreds of lives lost Britain is a third world country with rich people

I still remember waking up that morning for work looking at my phone to so many news notifications not realising just where grenfell tower was and how close I was to it! To see all the pain and hurt in peoples faces seeing firefighters breaking down in the streets Wow just wow💚

Years ago, during my teaching days in the UK, we studied an article on Grenfell, and I showed students this song/video. The visceral reaction was something that moves me even now. The “hardest” boys were crying real tears and were angry at the injustice and erasure.

Grenfell was an revenge arson attack. It definitely was not an accident. It was done by white English nationalists as revenge for the attacks on London bridge and at a Christmas grotto events which saw several people stabbed and killed. The tower had 90% immigrants
