Giancarlo Stanton faces Ryan Weathers in live BP:

If Giancarlo could do 1/2 of what he did in '24 playoffs this year, we would have a shot at contending. He was that good. #Yankees

There he goes, he shattered his meniscus

@LttleGel Swinging at pitches in the other batter’s box. He’s in mid season form.

He’s taken more ABs in live BP than this season

Imagine Judge and Stanton in the AL Wildcard lineup and both going 0-4 with 4 Ks.

Put some bubble wrap on him so he doesn’t hurt himself.

Why??? What does he add at this point? It would be insane to add him to playoff roster. And is Judge even taking BP? No? Leave him off the roster too. Not ready is not ready.

Love Stanton but he needs to be ready. Not sure the WC series makes sense. Maybe he comes back for ALDS or CS if we get there.

Did he ground into a double play or strike out yet?

Struck out on a terrible call by blue, doesn’t count

Looking washed

OmG… I fucking fell asleep watching

He should just rehab and wait til 2027. It’s in every one “health “interest

Everyone is this comment section is a fucking retard, the guy is just trying to get his timing down - I’m sure you losers know the feeling of taking your first swings after not seeing live pitching for months, when you were 200 LBS less and played JV all 4 years of HS.

Not much to see here.

Looks explosive 😆😆

And he’s injured

He looks slow and late. Not needed.

Why?

@Eric_M888 He needs to retire!!

Time to retire

Please go away.

My calf hurts just watching this.

2 players we NEED on this playoff roster

Wait did I see Stanton and Weathers in this post? Back??

@CarverHigh_ Your boy!

Please stop

Translation: Calf strain inbound!

He looks slow

Oh a nice clip from spring training! … oh 😔

In week or 2. He will improve to swing the bat , then a month or so improves to hitting the ball into SS or third at best Then we will be out of the race !!! And By next year he will have season ending injury in spring training…
