Instead, they should've said, “You don’t pick our negotiator, we pick him.” I think what happened is they allowed Putin to influence this. And then they started using his friends. I would've liked to remain representative for both Ukraine and Russia, but that didn’t happen. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. So I said it’s President Trump’s decision. He is the President, he makes such decisions, not me.
