I'll go with the other hall of famers opinions on this, which Arenas isnt. There are players who guarded both MJ and Lebron. They say MJ hands down.

You can’t find a superstar who beat MJ in the playoffs to say MJ is the GOAT (IT, Bird, etc), but you see KG and Paul Pierce finally acknowledged that LeBron is the GOAT.
