Gini Wijnaldum vs Spurs 19/20. A midfield general.

@FanofNoOneV1 Do City home that season that was an incredible performance too.

@FanofNoOneV1 Admittedly mate, I just reposted/quoted the LFC account's comp so I didn't make it. But I remember he was incredible in that game too. Incredible player.

Gini at his best was crazy good.

This is what gravenberch should try to be but he’s too lazy to even try. Has all the raw ability but not applying them correctly.

He was nuts

Love him

Proper midfield , now we have to deal with these clowns szoboszlai gravenberch who would never made it under Jergens midfield

Mate for a second I thought you made a comp

🤣One day I will start doing so. I just need to get my editing skills up a few levels. I really like your comps

Cheers mate, I believe you would do well if you did start.

Thank you for the kind words❤️🙏

Not one of our midfielders are like him. And to think he got slated no end from our fans when he played for us. And now we are wishing for a player like him. 😂

So many people bitched and moaned about Gini saying ‘he doesn’t score enough’ He was absolute class

Take your flowers Gini

Always knew where to be and always did the basics correctly. He was capable of doing more technical stuff but it was never to the detriment of what was required at the time.

Not flashy, but highly effective💥

im sorry but half these clips gravenberch is jogging too them, players holding up the ball playing a 1-2 and we're sliced open genuinelly such a common thing.

A player that can mark, press, easily pass the ball unlike some dimwits in the present day midfield, find a free man, keep things easy and ticking.

started tearing up

Anyone with James milner vs Manchester city 18/19

And we took him for granted. Look at us now

Fucking miss my dawg man 😭😭👏🏿

Feel sorry for all the people who took him and that era for granted

the man we never replaced 😢 😢

Can any of the LFC coaching staff feed Gravenberch with Winjnaldum compilations.

miss him

Jenny Vine Alden

All they did was criticize him when he was there…

@bennetmawuli enjoy your gravy

We used to call him ghost away from home....but look now this what we're missing now

Fuck

Would love Liverpool current midfielders to watch this video and take notes of how proper midfielders should play. You don’t bombard forward with the ball or after making 1 successful pass. You don’t hold the ball too much. You must not be with the ball always. Allow the game flow and sometimes just sit back and observe.

There was a time when all our midfielders could and would play every role in the middle

This is call positioning discipline..... We lack it in our team now

In big games on his day brilliant. In games that needed some progression he’d go totally missing and offered zero in that regard.

He was that guy What a player
