Girder for bridge over Puthimari river was successfully launched marking a significant step towards doubling of New Bongaingaon - Agthori section. Once complete, this section will enhance access to education hubs like IIT-Guwahati and bolster economic activities in the region.

Had a visit to Madgaon railway station recently. The amenities over the railway station are too pathetic. The station handles around a lakh passengers daily. The station doesn't even have decent seating facilities.
