@KrissaKray @Nick_Wellings I don't care about disabled people - that's the British Way.

Wheelchairs are for more than just paralysis. A lot of people commenting have been fortunate not to fall chronically ill and understand. I pray you never do.

Damn, let me make a mental note that if I ever get sick or hurt and end up disabled to the point that I need a mobility tool that I should just give up on getting better because of randos on the internet 😔 yeah girl, what the hell… is wrong with you.

Do you think asthmatics spend all day sucking on inhalers and struggling to breathe and it not, they should go to jail.

The perks of being born in a developed country. You just get to create your own disability and have it catered to.

i love how stupid this makes you sound bc have you watched the video you're posting? have you listened to the things she said? she never said she is paralyzed or unable to walk at all, she just needs a mobility aid for her BAD DAYS. she can walk on her GOOD DAYS. yk?

This reminds me of the girl whose Instagram is 50% complaining to her job about wheelchair accessibility and 50%….literally training for a (non assisted) Ironman. Like runs 10 miles totally normally, then rides her wheelchair to work and complains about accessibility 🧐

I don't know what she has but I have arthritis and in my youth some days I physically couldn't move the inflammation was so bad, and on other days I looked normal as fuck so You have no idea what's going on with her

Have you ever had a headache so bad you couldn’t do anything that day? Okay now think really hard about how you don’t always have headaches but you might need extra down time on headache days. Now change from head pain to leg or back pain. Make sense?

Someone's ability to spend a little time outside of the wheelchair does not imply they have the ability to tromp around a whole ass city all day.

one of the most common forms of ableism is the accusation that ppl are “faking” their disabilities. literally just learn anything about wheelchair users and you’ll know this is pretty common

It’s clearly a mental illness she has. When her mental health is good, we wants to walk. When she’s down, she wants her wheelchair.

imagine hating disabled people this much you have to make an issue out of a video literally explaining her disability (which she didn’t have to do). fuck you

Reminds me of that part in BEE movie where she asks him “if you can fly, why don’t you always do that? You have wings.” And he says “because it’s exhausting? You have legs. Why aren’t you just sprinting everywhere?”

not all wheelchair users are completely paralyzed. many people with chronic pain are able to walk short distances, but when it comes to activities that require lots of walking and movement without the chance to rest it can be very useful

The comments and tweet are proof of how absolutely stupid people are! Never been sick a day in their life, never read a single thing about disability’s but yes, please have a opinion on disabled people we really need more of that in our life’s!

My uncle has MS. Some days he's able to move around really well. Some days he can't stand up without falling over. It's just the way neuromuscular diseases are. This woman was also an athlete, which I'm sure plays a big role in what she can do on her good days.

My knee is busted and I have a wheel chair and used crutches. That doesn’t mean my legs are useless, it just becomes more difficult to move. I went snowboarding and shit, and suffered more than most. People crying are just fat and useless

This is not it. One of my friends can walk around at a con for hours, but then will be essentially bedbound with muscular and back pain for the next 3 days. Wheelchairs are not just for those unable to walk, they make the world more accessible for ppl who find walking difficult
