I am beyond grateful. This tour was THE highlight of all highlights of my life. I had no expectations coming in, I just wanted to help take good photos, for the team and the blooms as well. However, I didn't expect that my heart would be so full of love and friendship after my own 'tour' of 8 states, and 11 cities in 23 days. I never felt exhaustingly tired, until now. Naramdaman ko na rin ang sakit ng katawan 😅 In retrospect, this was maybe because at every stop, from NY to SEA, everyone was all positivie vibes, walang epal. Everybody had a good time before and after each concerts. I never met anybody who said otherwise. TEAM BLOOM USA , I will never stop thanking the people leading this group for the trust and opportunity. If not for your hard work and perseverance, this will not come to fruition. And to the rest of the USblooms I've met along the way, thank you for making every stop memorable. To Team Bini, thank you for accepting me into your group. Working with you all was a breeze. I really appreciated the camaraderie and for giving me the chance to be my own creative self. I've seen now why BINI is so good because of the team that supports them behind the scenes, cares about each one of our walo. They held each other accountable and keep them grounded as well. To BINI, our walo, we are so proud of you all. Thank you for persevering despite all the doubt, for taking the challenge head on despite the uncertainty. You've conquered each stage with your aptitude, grit and determination. Congratulations for a job well done! It was an honor and privilege of mine to photograph and be a part of your journey. Honestly, I really felt the pressure the first time I had to photograph you, sino ba naman ako to take pictures of my idols. But everything became zero pressure as you made it easy for me. Thank you for being you, your sweet, malambing and fun selves. I started as a fan of your music, and of your personalities. Now and after I was given the ultimate chance as a bloom, to work with you, I end the tour with an even more deeper appreciation of your body of work and what you all do. You're setting the bar really up high as artists and as performers. Do not believe anyone who would say otherwise. To BINI, to the whole bini team, and together with the blooms worldwide, I will be borrowing the motto of the state of NY, a full circle moment for me, as it is where I started my own 'tour'. To advance your career, focus on creating impact: impact = skills x environment. a. Environment is everything that enables you to do great work that is outside of your direct control, including: manager, resources, team, scope, compensation, and culture. b. Skills are things that are within your direct control that enable your success: communication (the most impactful), influence/leadership, strategic thinking, and execution. 2. Understanding “adjacent users” can be a key to unlocking new stages of growth. Adjacent users are the next segment of people who can benefit from your product and are showing interest but are not quite converting and retaining how you’d hope. You can identify these users by looking for cohorts showing signals that your product is almost a fit (e.g. signing up) but not quite working (e.g. churning at high rates). For example, at one point, Instacart’s core user base may have been office admins ordering food for their staff, but the adjacent user was a mom of four ordering groceries. The mom of four has very different needs, so it would be important for Instacart to build for those in order to grow into the new segment. 3. Bangaly says to view product management as analogous to coaching a sports team. Just like in sports, not everyone needs to be a star player, but everyone plays a crucial role in achieving success. Similarly, the success of individual team members reflects back on the leader. Investing time and effort into coaching and developing team members not only benefits them but also enhances the leader’s effectiveness in their role. 4. Before executing on a product idea, do “understand work” to truly understand pain points, alternatives, and, ultimately, the best opportunities. Too often, teams have an idea, find some data to justify it, and then start executing. And too often, this leads to failed experiments. Instead, invest time up front in understanding what is happening through things like data instrumentation, data analysis, or talking to users. This translates to “going slow to go fast” because the up-front investment will turn into much higher experiment win rates, especially as lessons compound over time. 5. Use the “Managing Complex Change” framework to diagnose and solve barriers to change in a given team or area. The framework lays out five things a team needs in order to change: a. Vision b. Skills c. Incentives d. Resources e. Action plan If you are missing any one of these, you get a different style of negative outcome, instead of the change you want. For example, having everything except vision causes confusion, and having everything except the right incentives causes resistance. Since these negative outcomes can be felt and observed in the team, you can work backward from them to their cause. Once you know the precise cause, you can solve it to unlock change.

Shalom Saints, Sometime this year, while touring the US, I felt a leading to jump into the studio with my team to record an unplugged version of the song JEHOVAH SHAMMAH (one of our oldies) The LORD inspired me to write two more verses - one on Jehovah Nissi and the other on Jehovah Jireh, in addition to the one on SHAMMAH. It’s a powerful song of prayer, worship and assurance, especially in these very uncertain times. This is one song you want to share with friends and family, teach your children, and loop over and over again as you pray, work and even play. So beloved, as the year draws to a close, I put this calm, solemn yet poignant declaration in your hand. it is one to declare everyday as 2025 lurks around the corner and even more so, as you go through it and onwards. It would inspire faith like never before, build a holy confidence and trust in God, unshakable in a shaking world that is trembling politically with wars and rumours of wars, unprecendented level of insecurity, unstable and failing economies, and even more so, a world in spiritual and moral decline never witnessed before. One the Bible aptly describes as GROSS DARKNESS. But for you and I, there has never been a better time to arise and shine as lights and as beacons of love and hope. In the coming days, I will share some photos and perspectives on the EVA last week. To start with, Nichole “Vapor” Ayers and I wanted to share our gratitude to the ground teams as a whole at the end of the EVA. Here is that clip and transcript. ---------- “Marcos, while we wait for these couple of minutes, from EV1 Anne, I'd just like to say thanks to my family and friends from Washington to Kansas City, from Naples to L.A. I also want to give a huge thanks to all the teams that made today safe and got the mission executed. Our prep team, Judd, Sandy, and Scott. Our execution team, Stephen, Bailey, Lucas, Faruq, Lauren, and the other Sandy. A good mission starts with a good plan. I want to also thank prior crew that have done this strut EVA. Kate, Victor, Aki, Thomas, Kayla, Raja, Josh, Frank, Koichi, and Nicole - we stand on the shoulders of giants, and there were so many lessons learned from your EVAs put into this one. For our suit IVs, Takuya and Jonny, absolutely flawless execution. Can't wait to see you in a minute, I hope you put dinner in. To the two voices I've been listening to, Nichole and Marcos, you two are phenomenal. These two, Nichole Ayers and Marcos Berrios, remember those names. They're going to be our future giants in this office, and they represent the best of us. And most of all, I want to thank our flight director, Diana Trujillo. Thank you so much. To be honest, regarding the decision to do this show, first of all, thank you to the staff for trusting me and Sea for trusting us enough to let us go up there. Because I admit that at first, it was very risky, and personally, I didn't have much confidence in this performance at all in the beginning. Every single time, there’s always something to worry about. This time, there was definitely one thing I was extremely anxious about, and that was safety. Safety for both me and Sea. Honestly, on the third day, everyone already knew what I was going to do. I could hear everyone's voices while we were getting strapped into the slings, calling out, "Be careful, be careful." Thank you so much. To be honest, regarding the decision to do this show, first of all, thank you to the staff for trusting me and Sea for trusting us enough to let us go up there. Because I admit that at first, it was very risky, and personally, I didn't have much confidence in this performance at all in the beginning. One more road to cross…. Jan 20th There’s a lot of ways you can impact the game. There’s lots of ways to impact the coaches and players. If you see me… I’m constantly trying to provide and be a source of serious, positive, encouraging and focused energy for the team. You never know how anyone is feeling. Football has lots of emotions. Lots of ups, downs and your mind shifts constantly. Sometimes it’s good to have a stable voice to encourage you, give advice on how to view a set of circumstances, talk about the mentality and strategy it takes to overcome a situation or you need a voice to tell you….. “let’s go and f*ck some sh*t up” (my favorite). It’s an honor to be back around these coaches, players and fans again. The whole experience has made me shed tears more than a few times. I’m passionate about Ohio. I have a lot of pride and happiness with being from Ohio. I love how these young guys are representing. We have to go win another tough one! I’ll be right there…. Talking, yelling, jumping, pacing the locker room like I’m preparing to play and encouraging these guys. God has blessed me. I have a great life. I get to contribute to Ohio State Football UConn Men's Basketball and @itiswhatitis_talk all while being myself in every environment. I hope this post encourages anyone who’s going through a challenging moment in their life. I’ve been through a lot of shit to get here. It might take time but you can get your life back. You can be resilient. It might take years but you can reach the top despite any and all challenges. Before I do my final song, there are so many people I need to thank who have put this show together. […] Everybody on this team [is a very good friend]. Tonight I was deemed Legendary. Aja Miyake Mugler. I am still gagged. I am still floating. I am still a little high and I have not eaten all day, but my heart is so full right now that I do not even care ❤️‍🔥 First, thank you to my runway divas Aoki Donyale Luna, and Lolita Miyake Mugler. Y’all believed in me, poured into me, analyzed my every step, every angle, every personality quirk, and pushed me to keep going even when I doubted myself. I love you all so much. A huge thank you to Dominique Miyake Mugler for always seeing me. Thank you to my son Zenith for always riding for me. Thank you to my father Arturo for being my voice of reason and keeping me grounded when my mind spirals. And thank you to our founder David, one of the kindest and most selfless souls I have ever met. Every conversation with you brings me deeper into the history and magic of this house. I love my Muglers more than I can ever explain. When I first came to ballroom, I was 12 years old. I discovered this world on the pier and on MySpace. I never imagined that the little kid who used to sneak to Escos would one day actually be Legendary. I never imagined I would end up with an undefeated 30 grand prize streak, ten of the years, teaching classes worldwide, and speaking on ballroom in media and television. My runway was born from watching Londyn Miyake Mugler, Nadine Milan, and Tyra Maison Margiela. Three completely different flavors, but all dangerous and beautiful. I started in performance. Runway was something I picked up just to prove to myself that I could do it. I never expected any of this to happen. I never did it for a title. I did it because I love pushing myself. I did it because I wanted to show the world that I could. Tonight hit me hard because I was not expecting it. I was literally in the kitchen cooking oxtail for the Muglers all day, running on fumes, and I showed up five minutes before Grand March. I was not even thinking about a deem. So when my name was called, my imposter syndrome tried to jump out. For a second, I told myself there was no way. Then I stopped and said, no. I deserve this. I worked for this. I bled for this. I stayed up stitching effects when I could not afford it. I walked balls tired, stressed, broke, emotional, and still gave my all. I let myself have my moment. I keep replaying my biggest memories. Processing the entire female figure lineup back to back at West Coast Awards. Being the only fem queen who did not get chopped at Crimes of the Century and almost taking the whole thing. Being listed for Female Figure Runway at the Garçon Ball and coming in to battle after Jonovia had just sent every single legend on the way, and then beating her. That night was insane. I was the only non legend left standing and I made it all the way to the second to last battle. I will never forget that feeling. Countless last battles for one thousand dollars OTA. Winning Tag Team Legendary Runway with an Understudy as the groom and bride with Aoki. Winning Tag Team again for one $1250. Winning Latex Ball 2023 for $750. My debut night as a Miyake Mugler, winning $2000 at the Lanvin House Ball dressed as the Tin Man. Winning $2,500 in Toronto the next month. Winning and winning and winning because no matter how tired I was, I refused to give up. Tonight felt full circle. It felt like every stitch, every flight, every bruise, every tear, every dollar spent on effects, every failure, every almost, every win, all aligned in one moment. I am so grateful. I am so proud. I am so emotional. And I hope my journey shows anybody watching that if you aim for something and you commit to the work, you will get there. I am LEGENDARY. And I earned it. Run a contest Do a monthly giveaway for reviews. Ask customers to tag you on socials or use a custom hashtag. Each post counts as an entry to the monthly drawing. We ran one of these and got 1,000+ reviews and newsletter subscribers from a single giveaway. 4. Celebrate your best customers Congratulate them for meeting certain milestones: • being a “power user” on your site • 1-year anniversary of being a customer • buying X repeat products Send a thank you, maybe a small gift, and ask if they’ve left a review yet. The ask feels like a natural next step in the relationship. 5. Pay your team to ask Give your employees a small bonus for every review they bring in. But instead of a generic review request, frame it as tipping the employee. One version I love: "Leave [Tech's Name] a 5-star review, mention his name, and we'll tip him $10 for you."
