Here is the sad truth no one wants to deal with. All women know abortion is killing babies. Everything they say to pro-lifers is designed to escape guilt or punish you for making them feel guilty about it. They're not interested in the truth in these interactions. Its throwing your pearls to swine engaging with them on it. In the information age they are not victims of ignorance, they just don't care. I'm also not sure what the state could even effectively do about abortion anyways, other than some areas banning clinics. If the cops protect a corrupt government while letting invaders destroy the country why would they be willing to save or avenge the unborn? Its a dark, gut wrenching and disturbing aspect of female sin we just don't want to think exists. I think feminists and unrepentant women who got abortions just need to be excommunicated. Their biggest punishment will be at the Throne of judgment anyways, when God shows them who they killed and who they would have been. There is nothing we can do here on earth to them worse than that experience will be.

Thing is, there really isn't a single verse in the Bible that forbids abortion. You can quote Psalms or Jeremiah if you want, but both aren't laws about ending a pregnancy, but rather about someone's calling.
