Given that this has been proven incorrect, I would urge Alex Phillips to issue a retraction and apology on her next Talk show. Talk TV is great, with a wide range of presenters and guests, but stating false stories about political parties as fact is dangerous.

But to be honest, the U.S. has around 10,000-14,000 troops trained for extreme cold operations. I would say that this number is less than that of countries like Denmark and Finland when the talk is about troops trained for this kind of climate. There is no issue with aviation or naval resources, but for a military occupation by force, I would argue that the Americans have the manpower, provided there is no resistance. The truth is that danish people need more the US public opinion than any other thing.
