I always got on with the hippies & crusties at Glastonbury, was great to go hang around them in the green field. Amusing most clearly came from well off families, and would probably be CEO's of some tech firm now.

That year me & my friends really wanted to go but, at 15, our parents said we were too young & no one had a parent who would chaperone us. So, instead, we made a 'tent' from furniture & blankets in the front room of my house & camped in front of the TV to watch it instead 😁😂😁

Ha ha! I wrote a song about Crusties around this time. Only line I remember is “ping! There’s a dog on a string”.
