Glee didn’t always get it right, but this? This was everything

Anything with Kurt and his dad was some of the very best of the show

I would never thank Glee enough to not give the stereotypical homophobic parent. Burt is clearly afraid for Kurt's well being and doesn't understand everything he is passing by...But as a good parent, he would support his child at any cost and assure him that's he's in safe place

And the fact that it was in the first few episodes of the first season was really beautiful to see

Burt Hummel belongs on the Mt Rushmore of great sitcom dads. Ryan Murphy supposedly said he wrote Burt to be the dad he never had 😢😢

It’s been a solid decade but I remember Kurt being SO terrified for him to find out up to this point, I held my breath at this scene and was so relieved his dad was such a good man 😫😫😫
