Announcing GLM Arena! A series of tests (infographics, svgs, sites, ect..) ran on GLM 5.2 and Opus 4.8, with prompts included. On average, GLM 5.2 produced 2x the tokens but was still faster + 3x cheaper with similar quality.

This model is insane at design. I asked GLM 5.2 (left) and Opus 4.8 (right) to build me a landing page and you can't even tell the difference. GLM cost $0.06 while opus cost $0.49. More than 6x cheaper while being faster + more token efficient. Another win for open source AI.

Sakana Fugu surprisingly performed near GLM 5.2 level but 17× more expensive! We gave the same prompt to 4 models: build a complete live Trader Desk with both frontend and backend components, real-time market data fetched from external APIs for 8 symbols, and a custom dark-theme UI. Outputs: Fugu Ultra — 22,225 t, $0.51 Opus 4.8 — 15,802 t, $0.31 GPT-5.5 — 11,474 t, $0.26 GLM 5.2 — 13,677 t, $0.03 Fugu created the most polished and feature-rich trading desk in the run. GLM 5.2 was very close behind, with a similarly complete multi-panel interface and live data, but at a much lower cost. Opus and GPT also performed well, delivering solid results with a better balance between quality and cost

Here's a comparison of Amp Tab to another popular tab-edit implementation. After removing fields, Amp Tab (dark mode) tabs nicely through all follow-on edits. Cursor (light mode) suggests re-adding just-removed fields.

i found a way to make UNCENSORED AI AGENT on a RTX 4090 GPU (!!!) with LOCAL 30B model weights this is GLM-4.7-Flash with abliteration, need 24GB VRAM, safety alignment surgically removed from the weights, the model has native tool calling, it actually executes bash, edits files, runs git (1) use ollama to pull weights of GLM > ollama pull huihui_ai/glm-4.7-flash-abliterated:q4_K (2) proxy it to any coding agent via ollama > ollama launch claude --model huihui_ai/glm-4.7-flash-abliterated:q4_K > ollama launch codex --model huihui_ai/glm-4.7-flash-abliterated:q4_K > ollama launch opencode --model huihui_ai/glm-4.7-flash-abliterated:q4_K (3) have fun

GLM 5.2 dynamic 1-bit GGUF one shot Flappy Bird with 0 syntax errors whilst being 86% smaller! I was very surprised since normally 1-bit quants get syntax errors & you have to say "Fix bugs". UD 1-bit retained 76.2% top-1% accuracy whilst being 86% smaller vs BF16!

Cool: Hugging Face is now supported in opencode, select your favorite model from the Hub and it will consume your inference quota directly. I recommend starting with GLM-4.5 (great at coding + awesome at agentic tasks)
