Their voices are essential in driving effective solutions for global health crises. I hope that the Member States will listen to their voices as they gather next week to conclude the Pandemic Agreement negotiations.

At the G7 summit, Donald Trump reportedly walked into a meeting with world leaders and declared, “I’m the boss.” It’s the kind of line that sounds less like diplomacy and more like a character introduction in a movie. The G7 is supposed to be a gathering of allied nations working together on global challenges. Instead, moments like this reinforce one of the most common criticisms of Trump: that he treats international politics as a stage for his own image, where projecting dominance matters more than cooperation. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😜
