gmod started as a half-life 2 mod in 2004. one guy, source engine, 20 million copies. s&box has been 'coming soon' since 2018. seven years for a 50 person studio to redo a mod

There was an unwise man who said: "They're still playing Gmod?"

The game is fine if you're ok with playing default gmod sandbox but people have already talked at length about how gutted it is for development purposes.

I never played GMod. I have no idea how to do ANYTHING in Sandbox. Any good tutorials out there you’d recommend?

From just a pure buissiness perspective, I do not understand the decision to not name this game Garrys Mod 2, and trippled down on the Sausage People even though so many people gave them feedback that they are unappealingly ugly

I hope S&box takes off, would be sick to have everything you could do in Gmod but way more modern and less scuffed.
