isn't their ADA guidelines for this shit? I'm pretty certain the slope has to be at a certain angle. It's one thing for a private contractor to fuck it up but if it was truly done by a government contractor that's absolutely disgraceful.

Make friends. They can go to the city to do your task for you. Or, city can hire a guy specifically to do 5 minutes of work pushing you up the ramp for an appointment. It is weird when I see signs with braille at the ATM, at the crosswalk or on a plaque outside of a building. You know they only install that because of a lawsuit judgement, not because handicapped people really use it.

People don't realize how even the slight incline we're used to with public ramps is actually kinda hard if you use a manual wheelchair. My first day in a chair was so upsetting.

Ramp is too steep but the handrail could help - unfortunately even when you reach the top the disabled person would end up rolling down unless they try to push themselves beyond handrail which maybe uncomfortable or even impossible for some.
