I simply don't understand the weird Goose hate from the Phish community. It's just weird. I mean . . . Trey loves Goose. Isn't that enough to validate them as a band who doesn't deserve the amount of vitriol thrown at them?

They can try their best, but there is zero soul and all their jams sound the same. Also, all other iconic jam bands have talented members throughout the entire band. Rick can only carry so much weight.

I don’t understand why Phish fans have anything to say about Goose. They are basically the same band. Poorly written songs drowned out by long periods of rambling guitars. I don’t get it at all with either of them.

Seeing them for the first time on Thursday. Should I be excited?
