Painted by Armenian masters and presented in two sacred horizontal tiers, this is biblical storytelling in its most magnificent form. While the walls narrate the Gospel, a gleaming gilded dome crowns the structure with splendor. Meanwhile, Armenian inscriptions-dating to 1627 and 1711-line the interior, permanently honoring the faithful whose donations brought this vision to life. One such inscription, set into the southern entrance, commemorates the patronage of Khaje Petros: "Pray for Khaje Petros, a good man before God.
