I think he's fighting a losing battle but... He's fighting it will 100% faith that he can make a difference for the better for folks other than himself. Have to respect him for that.

I'm guessing that this teacher works in Arkansas (because of UofA references). I believe that this shows how good teachers can be in a system that encourages morality and ethics. KUDOS to Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders for setting the tone for her state... and KUDOS to this great teacher whose love for his students is evidenced in his willingness to set an example.

Look at your audience to see if they want to hear what you are saying…or have to be there. I agree with you, God bless this man. But, looking at the faces of his students and I see disinterest and disrespect.

Clone this man and put him in every classroom in America. Not all kids are at fault, but there are kids in every class that need to hear it!

This is what is needed. Parents aren’t stressing respect for others at home, so strangers have to do it for them, sadly. Can we be surprised when children with trophies for effort are told how “special” they are. You’re special like everyone else. Sit your ass down. You’ll get a trophy when you earn one through sacrifice, teamwork, and actually winning!! This is what I told my children growing up. They aren't spoiled and have manners.

This is what has to be done because most are fatherless and the mothers have no idea how to raise kids.

Those kids look bored to death. They could care less what this man has to say. They just do not care.

I was in education from 1997-2019. I saw the change. It was a combination of things. A few examples: if a student has an IEP they CANNOT fail. Yep. Even if they refuse to turn in homework, fail tests, etc. you are not permitted to fail them. Fear of litigation is another example.

The students in this classroom look like they are bored to death & have no interest in what he’s saying. I would hope it’s sinking in but I doubt it .

So good. However, all the students look like they smoked a blunt at recess. He is giving up all that energy to be met by zero interest. Very depressing. But kudos for trying. Maybe if one hears it that will be enough.

This teacher is gold. God please bless him abundantly. This should be taught and DEMONSTRATED by their parents from a very early age. Discipline = LOVE. I pray it's not too late for these students.

These are high school students… these are lessons there’s parents should have taught them in grade 1-2. It’s sad.

Add to that it’s OK to have your pride hurt if you’re in the wrong and it’s OK if you’re wrong

I am 54 years old. I was taught this in my growing up. I was taught this in my schools. I was taught this in church. No one is perfect at each circumstance deserves consideration. This is how you function in society.
