Yeah, I guess he wasn’t really in the moment here, since his voice acting feels flat and doesn’t capture the emotion like it usually does in most in-game stories. (By the way, for those rabid fans wo will try killing me, this isn’t an attack on the voice actor just my observation

I mean he did this in a single take under no supervision from voice directors. He just saw the lines and read them out as he envisioned it. It's really good voice acting all those things considered in my opinion

the pre 2.2 facial animations (or lack of) still suck tremendously but omg i replayed 1.3 before this while getting an alt up and i remembered just how much i disliked rover standing there like a doll with unvoiced singular choices and :| on their face
