And considering how the episode “Neptune’s Spatula” confirms the Greek pantheon is ALSO canon…this means that the SpongeBob universe is an omnitheistic one!

to be fair, even in season 2 heaven and angels were heavily implied to be canon, just with Neptune's name used in place of God

So what I’m getting here is there is a king Neptune who rules the seven seas, and king Poseidon who rules Atlantic city as king, but despite Neptune holding magical powers he is not an actual God like YHWH who is the true creator of the entire universe.
