Paul Harvey was the best. His "God Made a Farmer" is so spot on and true. Farmers work hard, and each yr is a gamble against the weather, as to if he will have a crop to harvest or have to chop it for silage. I don't think many who've never lived in farm country understand how hard the farmer works to feed our nation's families. I live in Nebraska and miss living on a farm in the country. We didn't farm the land, but we raised our kids in the country, and they had plenty of space to run, play, & explore.

Tough as nails! Back when they made ships of wood and men of steel. And women!!
