HODGES: Even if Russia doesn't launch missiles to Bremerhaven or Hamburg. Russia is clearly at war with the West. Leadership in all our countries has to speak to us as if we're adults. And acknowledge that Russia is at war with us. That bus driver in Leipzig did something every German should do, he saw a problem and took responsibility for it. And I think there are still too many people who simply sit back and say that someone else should solve the problem. Talk about these threats, what we have to do. Once we have that mindset, we can develop policies and strategies. There are technologies, not just to shoot drones in the sky, that allow us to find out where these drones came from. And then, first of all, one can point the finger at the responsible party and say that this comes from Russia. Then coordinate the police forces, military, and security forces so that they are actually present in these places.
