Originally Kihel was going to die early on and would serve as motivation for Loran who originally was an earthling. Instead plans where changed and we got a moonrace Loran and the princess and pauper plot which are massive improvements imo

And so begins the best part of the series! Will always love this scene, if for nothing else, than how cute it makes Dianna seem. She’s a queen, surrounded by aides and people who work for her. This is perhaps the first time in ages that she’s allowed to act normally and silly

That actually becomes a major plot point, as is them increasingly taking up the roles of each other.
