Addressing the faithful gathered in Saint Peter's Square, Pope Leo reflected on the day's Gospel reading, inviting the faithful to ask themselves how they are investing the “treasure” of their lives. Quoting Jesus’ words, “Sell what you own and give alms”, the Pope urged Christians not to cling to the gifts they have received from God, but to use them generously for the good of others - especially those most in need. “It is not only about sharing material possessions,” he said, “but about putting into play our abilities, our time, our affection, our presence, our empathy.”

Friends, Today is Palm Sunday, the day our Lord Jesus Christ rode into Jerusalem, fulfilling the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9. May you feel the love, joy, and peace of God as you meditate on the Lord and all He has done for us, His children. Let us pray for our leaders, for the people of our country and around the world, that hearts would turn toward God. Pray that the evil in this world would be eradicated, and that the goodness and faithfulness of our God would shine brightly through our lives—so we may be a light in the darkness. And don’t forget to invite your friends and family to church! ✝️

God our Father, everyone here, every one of us, we are lifting up our hands and praying to You, O Lord our Father. God, we are asking You to heal this precious little one from his head to his toe, completely, in a way that we know that You did it, and all the glory will go back to You, in Jesus’ mighty name we pray. When Jesus stepped into Simon Peter’s world, He performed a miracle Peter could understand—a net-breaking catch of fish after Peter had fished all night and caught nothing.
