Navaratri Darshan of Maa Mumba Devi 🙏 Maa Mumba Devi is the ancient patron goddess and guardian (adhisthatri) of Mumbai, regarded as a local form of Goddess Parvati or Maha Amba (Great Mother). The city's name "Mumbai" itself derives from "Mumba" (a variation of Maha-Amba) combined with "Aai" meaning mother in Marathi. According to legend, she appeared as an eight-armed goddess (sent by Lord Brahma) to defeat the demon Mumbaraka who terrorized the original seven islands and their Koli fishermen inhabitants; in gratitude, the demon asked her to include his name, hence Mumba Devi, protector of the land and people. Her historic temple in Bhuleshwar (rebuilt in the 18th century) remains a revered shrine where devotees seek her blessings for strength, protection, and prosperity, symbolizing Mumbai's spiritual roots amid its modern hustle.

Divine darshan of Ma Mansa Devi from Haridwar, Uttarakhand 🔥 She is worshipped as the wish-fulfilling goddess. Devotees believe that if they tie a thread on the sacred tree in the temple premises while making a wish, the goddess fulfills it. Once the wish is granted, they return to untie the thread as a gesture of gratitude.

I used to think she (Bhawani Devi, another name for Ma Durga) was Chandi (yet another name of the Goddess). But in reality, she is R*ndi - Anupam Kher in movie Bhrashtachar directed by Ramesh Sippy Soft Power or #BollywoodKiGandagi?

EKVIRA DEVI MANDIR, NEAR LONAVALA (Maha)🚩🚩 Ekvira Devi is believed to be an incarnation of Devi Renuka (mother of Parashurama Ji). For the Koli fishermen and the local tribe, the Devi is the supreme power and they visit the mandir on a daily basis seeking her blessings.

A pilgrimage to Tirupati is truly complete only when you seek the blessings of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanur first. Located just 5km from Tirupati, this ancient temple radiates immense peace, prosperity, and cosmic grace. 🙏✨ #Tiruchanur #Tirupati #Devotion
