Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)

Fun Fact: Patrick Titoplass (creature designer of Godzilla 98) actually really liked Godzilla Final Wars and loved that Zilla was in it.

I rewatched Godzilla US about a year ago, and while it isn't a good Godzilla film, as a general monster movie I think it holds up pretty well. It's fun, silly, some decent action and effects for the time. Also, the animated spin-off series was a lot of fun.

When I first saw Zilla in this movie, I laughed my ass off when his original Japanese conterpart torched his ass! The U.S. 1989 Godzilla was okay in a fun kind of way, but this and the other ones were really good!

They basically “had” to put Zilla in the movie and managed it in a very quick and effective way…

Seriously my favorite Godzilla movie, I love the story behind this with Toho even choosing a popular American song to add more into it.
