Godzilla Minus Zero is just another reason why 2026 is such a monumental year for Cinema: consider all the amazing movies that have already dropped this year (The Odyssey, Project Hail Mary, Spider-Man, The Invite, etc.) and consider how many more big releases we still have (Dune: Part 3,...

I’ve never known a year like this for the movie industry!! Not to mention series released this year for TV 😅 we’re feasting!!

Takashi Yamazaki has demonstrated through Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle & Godzilla The Ride: Great Clash that he has a fantastic sense of action direction, Kaiju fight choreography, and dynamic cinematography, making me so excited to see what kind of amazing sequences we'll get if Godzilla Minus Zero features an enemy monster for Godzilla to fight!

I took my 12yo grandson to see Godzilla Minus One in the theater. He was of course excited, but I was a little concerned because would it be too scary. The WHOLE MOVIE he was sitting forward in his seat, his hands gripping the armrests, staring unblinking, jaw agape. He was picking up on stuff I didn't get. But you need to know my grandson has an eidetic (photographic) memory. So I'm watching it, and there's a report that Godzilla is seen near Giza. Big deal I think, but my grandson gasps and says "Oh no!" Because HE had remembered that the girl got a job in Giza. But I had not. When it ended, I asked my grandson if it was too scary. He said, breathlessly, "No!" Then I asked him what was the best part, and he said, "Every part was the best part." I reluctantly had to say that despite my great love for the original 1954 movie, Godzilla Minus One beats it. Two other facts: 1) The IJN Takao was a real ship which survived the war. It even survived Leyte Gulf! 2) Godzilla Minus One cost less than $15 million. We could have made 25 of them for the cost of Avatar: The Way of Water. Or 15 for the cost of Wakanda Forever. Godzilla Minus One punked the American movie system so hard.

Project Hail Mary needs to be in this conversation. For all the love & attention Dune, The Odyssey & Tom Cruise are about to get- which is deserved- Project Hail Mary is a film I refuse to move on from quickly. This deserves to contend for the Oscar for Best Picture. Unquestionably one of the year’s best films.

2026 is turning into a historic year for Cinema. This year has blown my expectations out of the water, not just with box office numbers, but also the quality of new releases. And this is all without Doomsday or Dune: 3 having dropped yet. If Doomsday’s sales follow its pre-sale records, 2026 might morph into the single biggest year of Cinema of my lifetime. We are so incredibly back.

"Killing Putin is the best investment in the world!" "That's minus 30 euros for electricity every month for every German. That's minus 100 euros per month for fuel for a Hungarian. That's minus 1 euro for every croissant in France. That's how Europe and the world will live if Putin is killed". This was stated by Oleksiy Honcharenko, a member of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, during a PACE session.

FIRST LOOK: Godzilla Minus Zero. Folks, I’m extremely excited for this November 6th release. You guys all know how much I care about Japanese Cinema. Japan changed my life. I can’t wait for this film. Takashi Yamazaki is returning as writer and director, and the original cast is reprising their roles as the Shikishima family in post-war Japan. Let’s do this.

The Dispatch Chronicles We made more weapons than anybody in India. Now we had to deliver several 1000’s of them & more than 3 variants on the same day Zero Hour minus 72 hours | 09: 00: "We'll wrap this up by tomorrow night." (Famous last words.) Zero Hour minus 40 hours: The chai vendor is the most loved guy in the plant. He apparently knows about all weapons & is planning on writing a book on us. Good bloke, he makes it a point to to ask “Aaraama?” & reduce my BP Zero hour minus 30 hours: Someone tried to scan a samosa for a serial number. Zero hour minus 24 hours: The packing list & test reports are now longer than most novels. We've read it more times than any novel. Zero hour minus 14 hours: We’ve decided to promote the forklift to Senior Team Member. It's the only one still running at full capacity. Zero hour minus 7 hours: Break time. Our 2IC of testing decides it’s time to go ballistic. We don’t protest. He’s a Special Forces guy & the sweetest among us Zero hour minus 3 hours: We’ve not seen so many different weapons ready on the same dispatch day. Every crate sealed, every serial matched, every document signed. Zero hour plus 15 hours: Just heard there’s someone sleeping in the conference room. Our resident canine unit found him & sent him home.

What if the UFC required a MINIMUM of 10 pro fights before you even consider fighting on DWCS? How much better would the quality be and how much better of a shot would these fighters have of an actual career in the UFC at the highest level. Zero downside. Zero.

🔥Fleeing from a Ukrainian FPV drone, a Russian occupier led the drone to his comrade. The result was minus two in one go. It's interesting to imagine how one of them is “thanking” the other for such a meeting in hell😁

I have seen a few minutes of Dune: Part 3 & I truly can’t process how fucking good this movie is going to be. The battle for the Oscar for Best Picture between Dune & The Odyssey might be the most competitive Best Picture battle of our lives. We will tell our grandchildren about this year. The film looks horrifying & utterly stunning. What a cherry on-top of a great day.

A visual cue for the flight control movements on an A320 is the Sidestick Order Indication. A white cross indicates the resulting sidestick controller order from the Captain and the First Officer. It appears once an engine is running. Four white corners show the limits of this cross in pitch, which is plus or minus 15°, and in roll, which is plus or minus 19°. Fun Fact: The sidestick order indication is removed when the nose landing gear is not compressed.

A Somali fraudster that stole $1.1 million dollars from American taxpayers only gets 1 year in jail “Imagine stealing $1.1 million and all you have to do is serve one year in prison for that. A lot of people would steal that amount of money for just one year in prison. Well, that is exactly what happened to a Somalian fraudster in the state of Minnesota” Brookerteejones “This man was able to steal $1.1 million out of this fund, and a weak liberal activist judge only sentenced him to one year in prison. What a great 401k plan for him. And what a slap in the faces is to all the hard-working people in the state of Minnesota “Many Americans can work their whole life to only have $1 million. This man did this within a few months”

«LeBron James is still clutch». Bron is the only player in ball history to go 0-13 in game deciding moments for one year and still have everyone calling him clutch in 2023 #6 got ZERO blame for the Lakers downfall while Russell Westbrook was there, because Russ was blamed for everything going wrong, no matter what Most narratives say that #0 was at fault for that teams shortcomings. That is very far from the truth. I doubt people even know that this happened because of how the Lakers and media scapegoated Russ ‼️

This is all while having already knocked it out of the park with The Devil Wears Prada 2 & Mother Mary earlier this year. Hathaway, like her co-stars in The Odyssey Robert Pattinson & Zendaya, is having a historic 2026.

ELON: THE ECONOMY IS NOT A ZERO-SUM GAME “I think generally, people should always be wary that they may have, either consciously, or perhaps mostly subconsciously, internalized the notion of a zero-sum game, or a fixed pie. And if you internalize that, everything is zero-sum, meaning in order for me to get ahead, someone else has to not get ahead or for me to have stuff, someone else must not have stuff, if you have that axiomatic flow, then what it needs to be done is to fix that axiomatic flow, because it is false. It's not a zero-sum game. We can absolutely grow, and have grown, and the evidence is overwhelming, that we have grown the output of goods and services. We have many things today that we did not have in the past. We are far more prosperous. All of humanity is far more prosperous today than it was at times in the past.” European Jewish Association, 2024, Elon Musk
