Likely cause some of the times he did transform into Ultimate (For the first time in a while at least) He was either already in Super Saiyan or used it as a basis (There is also DBS when training with Piccolo but theres no GIF for that)

Why? It's Yellow in the Manga for any Base Saiyan and Green for Broly And yes, Ultimate is technically still A Base Form

Easily the worst idle animation in the game. They didn’t even try if we’re being honest here

That’s really cool, ultimate draws out Gohan’s latent potential and makes his SSJ forms redundant but having it retain the golden aura is a nice way of visually emphasising Gohan’s evolution in power, making it unique from base and SSJ but also very familiar to both
