Let winter arrive, Ethanol is going to create one of the biggest problems in high-altitude regions, and hardly anyone is talking about it. After 15 years in motorsport and travelling across the Himalayas, I can say this in written. Let winter arrive, and places like Leh, Spiti, and other parts of Himachal will face the real impact. At temperatures touching -30°C in Spiti, even normal petrol used to struggle. We often carried octane boosters to improve cold-weather performance. Petrol was still more reliable than diesel, which could gel in extreme conditions. Now imagine fuel that absorbs moisture. In freezing temperatures, that moisture can freeze, restrict fuel flow, block fuel lines, crack pipes, and prevent ignition altogether. A vehicle can become completely immobile when it’s needed the most. For nearly six months every year, people in these regions depend on petrol vehicles for medical emergencies, essential supplies, and daily life. Fuel isn’t a luxury there it’s a lifeline. This is a serious technical issue that nobody seems to be discussing today. A sneak peak of a complex and technically challenging experiment that my lab developed: Super proud of PhD candidate Hannah Johnson for showcasing our Whole-gut spatial genomic analysis in #zebrafish. This video illustrates one landmark in the protocol after multiple rounds of sequential #HCR and 3D imaging in zebrafish larvae to reveal spatial expression of numerous mRNAs in the same specimen. Data from these imaging data sets are then computationally analyzed for spatial cell groups, spatially variable genes, and differentially expressed genes along 3D. We are leveraging this systems-level SGA to uncover unappreciated mechanistic insight at the cell and tissue levels into #ENS construction. NEWS: SpaceX has released a statement after today's successful 11th Starship test flight. "Every major objective of the flight test was achieved, providing valuable data as we prepare the next generation of Starship and Super Heavy. The flight test began with Super Heavy igniting all 33 Raptor engines and ascending over the Gulf. The successful first-stage ascent was followed by a hot-staging maneuver, with Starship’s upper stage igniting its six Raptor engines to continue its flight to space. Following stage separation, the Super Heavy booster completed its boostback burn to put it on a course to a pre-planned splashdown zone off the coast of Texas using 12 of the 13 planned engines. Under the same angle of attack tested on the previous flight, the booster descended until successfully igniting all 13 planned engines (including one that did not relight during the boostback burn) for the high-thrust portion of the landing burn. The booster successfully executed a unique landing burn planned for use on the next generation booster. Super Heavy hovered above the water before shutting down its engines and splashing down. After completing a full-duration ascent burn, Starship achieved its planned velocity and trajectory. During flight, Starship successfully deployed eight Starlink simulators and executed the third in-space relight of a Raptor engine, demonstrating a critical capability for future deorbit burns. Starship re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere and was able to gather extensive data on the performance of its heatshield as it was intentionally stressed to test the limits of the vehicle’s capabilities. In the final minutes of flight, Starship performed a dynamic banking maneuver to mimic the trajectory that future missions returning to Starbase will fly. Want to know why the 4-26-2026 Foraker, Oklahoma #tornado went from an established "hog/ potential long track tornado" to POOF in a matter of seconds? After diving deep into my drone & 360 video it became fairly obvious as to what happened. If you watch this video close, you can see a sudden burst of what initially looks like outflow blowing out and away from the tornado as it simultaneously collapses the lower vortex. I know you're probably asking yourself, "why would this be outflow", and its a great question. The answer is, its not. What I believe is happening here is the mesocyclone is beginning to "handoff" to the new meso north. (aka the twin tornado). The RFD surge on the fully condensed tornado ends up getting pulled into the one to the north completely undercutting it. (as seen in the video). Where have we seen this before?? Funny coincidence, on the April 26, 2024 (yes same exact day two years prior) tornado outbreak across Nebraska and Iowa, you could see this exact thing happen with the Lincoln tornado as it handed off to what turned into the Waverly tornado to the north. "So I’m driving down the road this morning and the cars in front of me are driving over a black thing in the road. It’s going between their tires so I’m guessing it’s a box. It’s a kitten just sitting upright shaking like a leaf. And some idiot had spread glue on its paws and stuck it to the road. I thought maybe it walked through glue somewhere but after looking at it, that was totally spread into her paws. She was wet and freezing and literally glued to the road. And NO ONE STOPPED. 😳 What the f$&k people??? I slammed on my brakes and stopped all the traffic and put my hazards on and got out and pealed her off the road. People were honking and all pissy....really??? It’s a kitten glued to the road!! So after a goo gone bath and some food and cream we have a new kitten. Luckiest kitten in the world!" I met with members of our team here and discussed the initial results, the key conclusions from their work in the Emirates, as well as several proposals. Our shared goal with our partners is greater security. Ukrainians, unfortunately, remember well what it was like when Russia’s full-scale aggression against our country began. Much depended on fast and effective defense decisions. Today, Ukraine not only needs assistance but is also ready to support those who support us. During this time, our experts have held meetings with representatives of the UAE’s Security and Defense Forces. They are working to strengthen protection against aerial threats. We discussed this right before my meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. There is already a clear understanding of how the protection of airspace and critical infrastructure in the Emirates can be strengthened by integrating Ukrainian experience. This concerns comprehensive solutions that have proven their effectiveness. I thanked the team for their service and for the respect for Ukraine that is felt across the region. Our people deserve this respect and are truly among those who can help restore security. Glory to Ukraine!

"So I’m driving down the road this morning and the cars in front of me are driving over a black thing in the road. It’s going between their tires so I’m guessing it’s a box. It’s a kitten just sitting upright shaking like a leaf. And some idiot had spread glue on its paws and stuck it to the road. I thought maybe it walked through glue somewhere but after looking at it, that was totally spread into her paws. She was wet and freezing and literally glued to the road. And NO ONE STOPPED. 😳 What the f$&k people??? I slammed on my brakes and stopped all the traffic and put my hazards on and got out and pealed her off the road. People were honking and all pissy....really??? It’s a kitten glued to the road!! So after a goo gone bath and some food and cream we have a new kitten. Luckiest kitten in the world!" 100 days ago, on January 8th and 9th, millions of Iranians took to the streets knowing the price they might pay. More than 40,000 heroes paid that price for Iran's dignity, liberty, and freedom. Young women tore off their headscarves in front of armed security forces. Students organized, marched, and faced plainclothes agents on campuses. Teachers, lawyers, and workers walked off their jobs. Shopkeepers shuttered their stores in solidarity. Millions of ordinary people did extraordinary things in city after city in an epic display of national unity. The regime answered with bullets, mass arrests, and show trials and executions. Facing an inhuman evil, Iranians showed superhuman bravery. More than 40,000 gave their lives. My compatriots kept going and their courage belongs to history. This is the final battle and they are preparing to win the war against the Islamic Republic. In this battle to reclaim our nation, I will not stop fighting until the day they are free. We hope the world will be with us. Whether it is or not, our fight will continue and we will liberate Iran.
