The simplest way I think about the lower body: The simplest way I think about my lower body mechanics goes like this. I’m in leg lift and shifting my weight a little bit. This is called the drift. As I shift my weight, all I need to do is let gravity pull me into the throw. That's what accelerates me down the mound. But I can't just continue to sink down. There is a stabilization that happens with the back leg. After this stabilization, I fire everything into rotation. My knee, hip, and foot all fire into rotation. This creates the separation between the pelvis, which yanks my spine into the throw. All of this happens subconsciously. You need to be able to do that subconsciously. You can't think about these things on the mound. If you start to think about them, which happen in milliseconds, it's too slow, and the result just isn't going to be as good.

🐿️ because i was going on this show today…only a team member would know how much pressure it is to go and do these things alone and all the members know so each one of them, without anyone missing, wished me good luck…kai wished me good luck yesterday and told me to do well 🐿️ i met beomgyu hyung and soobin hyung this morning and i spoke to them too 🐿️ since it takes about 5 hours (to get there), i was about to sleep for about 2 hours and right as i was about to sleep, yeonjun hyung contacted me and was like “you going on that show today? shoot well”, i received strength from them so i could do my best 🐿️ where would you find a team like this?

I’m editing a video about my experience at NS, and it’s bringing back so many incredible memories. Being at Network School while it was in Malaysia was hands down one of the best experiences of my life. I met amazing people, incredible builders, and was treated with so much kindness every single day. I can’t wait for the Kazakhstan node to open so I can be back. Kevin Durant says he wears No. 35 to honor his late childhood coach “Charles Craig. That was my first coach when I was about eight years old. I started playing at this rec center down the street from my house. He took a liking to me because of my size and how quick I was to get up the court at my size. So he just started working with me from like 8 to 12 he was my coach” “The neighborhood got into some stuff one night. It escalated, and he got murdered at a barber shop probably when I was a junior in high school, just about to make my decision to go to college and make that next step. It was devastating. It was shocking for that to happen” “Periodically I think about it. I wish he could see all the stuff that I've done so far, but I always live with that number on me. That's why I wear that number, because he died at that age. So I try to keep something around that symbolizes what he meant to me” “It was a tough time, not just for me, because he coached a lot of my friends that went on to play outside of high school, and they wear the number too. It's kind of a connection that we all have coming from that rec center that he coached at. I just try to carry his name as much as I could. That's why I wear that number”
