Going through my google drives and cleaning up finding some gems. This is Harry room when we were all stuck in a random as fuck house in Germany during the pandemic. The great ant war was fought on the ground and in the air as these little bastards had wings.

Jericho Trumpets The "Jericho Trumpets" were sirens fitted to the German Luftwaffe's Ju 87 Stuka dive bombers during World War II. Mounted on the fixed landing gear legs, they had small propellers that spun rapidly in the airstream during steep dives, generating a rising, terrifying wailing sound. The intent was purely psychological,to induce panic and terror in enemy troops and civilians on the ground. Probably the noise was a combination of some things: the engine note in a dive, air rushing through the dive brakes, around the spats and perhaps the chin scoop and angular airframe.

The international border drawn between India and Bangladesh passes through homes and narrow lanes. In some houses, one room lies in India while another lies in Bangladesh. One door of a house opens into India, while the other opens into Bangladesh. This is the ground reality—and it clearly explains why fencing the border, guarding it, and completely stopping infiltration is not as easy as it sounds.

In the legends of the Hopi, there are stories about beings called the Ant People. These beings are said to have lived underground and helped the Hopi during times of great danger. One of the main stories says that during earlier worlds, when disasters like fire or ice came, the Ant People guided some of the Hopi into tunnels beneath the earth to keep them safe. Down there, they were given food and taught how to survive until it was safe to return to the surface. The Ant People are described as hardworking and cooperative, much like ants themselves, and they are remembered as helpers rather than rulers. The stories also say the Ant People shared knowledge with the Hopi. This included how to store food, live simply, and work together as a group. Went and paid my respects at the tiny unincorporated little village in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania of "Forbes Road" where men have fought to protect our liberty and treasure, even before our country was formed. The military road was built by General Sir John Forbes and cut by a young George Washington of the Colonial British Army during the French and Indian War to attack the French garrison at Fort Duquesne in what is now Pittsburgh and passes through this village. 100 feet away lies a Memorial for all who have served our country since World War I through the wars in Afghanistan in Iraq. An extraordinary amount of men are on this honor roll who stepped up when duty called for a village so tiny.#MemorialDay.
