The almighty does not work on Goku but on the future itself. Goku can be flat out immune to hax and the almighty will still fuck him over. Yhwach can choose a future where Goku gets a heart attack in front of him and dies.

People keep spreading misinformation about this matchup. Ultra Instinct doesn't matter against The Almighty because it's a completely passive ability. Yhwach is constantly seeing every future path and can change the outcome to defeat Goku before a punch is even thrown.
