If goku was really going all out against gohan then someone explain how he was able to hear broly, look at him, have the idea of him fighting gohan because they're similar, and immediately push gohan back and stop the fight... that's called having absolute control over the fight.

Incorrect on Gohan vs Goku, Goku won by landing the most blows, he was in control during the majority of the fight, took his eyes off of a full limit gohan mid fight, and landed the final blow at will, Gohan had to struggle for every hit. My opinion Goku won BUT The “full-power faceoff” statement is promotional/recap language describing the Chapter 102 portion of the fight. It isn’t a statement made after the completed fight declaring that Goku fought Gohan with everything he had in an attempt to win. In fact, the official recap simultaneously says both fighters were still holding back, and Chapter 103 subsequently clarifies Goku’s actual objective he wasn’t trying to beat Gohan, he was testing how strong Gohan had become. Those “full-power” statements do not prove Goku was fighting Gohan at his absolute maximum, because the official Dragon Ball website itself also stated that both Goku and Gohan were still holding back during that same fight. That means the promotional phrase “full-power faceoff” cannot reasonably be treated as a precise declaration that neither fighter had anything left in reserve. Chapter 103 then gives the actual narrative context when Goku explains that he was not trying to beat Gohan, but was testing how strong Gohan had become, so Gohan knocking him out of Ultra Instinct for a moment is not the same thing as winning the entire spar. Therefore, using those two promotional screenshots alone to claim Gohan definitively beat a fully committed Goku ignores both the official “holding back” statement and Goku’s own explanation of his purpose in the fight, “of not trying to beat Gohan”

The full power statement seems to be more of an indicator for them both using their final forms. Not necessarily they are at full power going all out. But i do agree gohan is probably stronger

Broly is not stronger than Goku, Whis himself says that him and Vegeta are the strongest in their universe. Granted, this is during the Granolah arc, but I doubt Broly trained THAT much to bridge the gap between then.

Both Gohan and Goku were holding back, it'sstated in the chapter directly. But only Gohan was able to actually punch Goku out of UI when he got more serious. Unlike when Goku got more serious he landed more blows, but it didn't effectively damage Gohan Beast.
