There’s a real split of opinion in the replies about this fight (which I like) Would be boring if we agreed all the time! Firstly on who won - for me Oscar started well but faded & Floyd took control & won the fight! Secondly on why no rematch - my overriding feeling watching the fight was Oscar was past his prime It would of been a lot more competitive 3yrs earlier & could of had a different winner But I absolutely did not see Oscar winning any potential rematch a year later When he’s another year older & taken another loss (against Manny Pacquiao) too! That fight was close. IMO Oscar landed more punches than Floyd, that fight deserved a rematch 💯 besides there was a rematch clause and Floyd retired instead 🤦🏻‍♂️. Oscar had a new trainer for that fight and Floyd knew that with a second camp the fight wasn’t gonna go his way
